22x10.5 Wheel Fitment
Anyone on here know if a 22x10.5 ET40 will fit a 2006 A8L all around?
I know the rear will be fine. I also know that MTM makes a 21x10.5 ET40 and it fits up front but will a 22 inch wheel also fit?
If anyone knows if it does or doesn't please post you findings here.
I want to jump on a new set of wheels and want to make sure these will fit before having them shipped to me.

I've seen pictures of a couple D3:s with 22" rims, and they seem to fit.
If a 21x10,5" ET40 fits, a 22" will also fit with the same ET and width, as long as the tires are of correct size.
I run stock "S8" 20" forged rims with 275/40R20 tires, and no issues, they are pretty close to the inner wheel liner at rear, but no rubbing sounds from either front or rear.
So with this, a 275/30R22 tyre should probably be OK.
My tires have a overall diameter of 28,66" and the 275/30R22 would have 28,5", so they will fit.

I see a lot of these setups across town.. Ridiculous to say the least. And to think they actually believe it's "cool". It's a shame what they do to luxury cars.
