Has anyone added a 2nd AMI to their A8? If so, how did you get it addressed properly?

It can be done easily since the electronics just sees it as a drive. When you add AMI to an existing set up without it but the CD player already in, you label it as drive or CD 2. System allows up to three drives IIRC back when I configured mine--just tick boxes I think in the car equipment screen from VCDS. Practical easiest way though is just unplug CD player and plug in AMI, saving CD player for any future one off needs to load some software change or patch.
