Hope I'm not mixing to many questions in a single post, but is there a good web page where options can be found using a vin number?

I really feel it's a good deal also! KBB even notes "good condition" at 21,8K with 47K on the odometer. It it really is in better shape from their definition of good condition.

Any thoughts on the headlamp? I used to do work for an exterior lighting company and understand how automotive lighting works. I wouldn't be afraid to put it in an oven and see if I can get the lens off to be able to replace the motor. But them again, I'd rather have it done the right way!!
Just had to replace whole unit because of fault light and failed motor. Total including labor was right at $1600.00.

$1600 for one or both headlamps?

Dealer here noted $750 for just the passenger side. From the sound of it, used ones are out there for less and switching them should be relatively easy unless reprogramming is involved.

Anyone know if it's as easy as just switching the lamp out with another?

In order to replace headlamp you have to remove the bumper cover. Not difficult but quite a few screws and bolts.

Finally, with the help of Brozee had a chance to really give the car a once over! Scanned and nothing major was found, but did notice that the tire pressure had been zeroed!!!

Original items but willing to accept with the offer:
-Needs new tires
-Passenger side headlamp needs replaced (AFS motor is out causing the lamp to aim to the right)
-Tire pressure sensors need to be replaced

Now the additional items:
-Drivers side valve cover is weeping towards the intake manifold
-Soft close on drivers door isn't working
-Rear shade is stuck in the up position
-Drivers seat thigh support isn't working
-Lower front facia was repainted the wrong color - flat black (owner acknowledged after noting it as I didn't see it the first time)

The price was originally dropped 3400 when I noted the initial things. I've received estimates to repair all but the seat and rear window shade which totals just over 2K. The dealer also noted the valve cover could need replaced which cost 1200.

So the question's! Do you think 21,5K for an A8L with 47K and the above issues is a decent deal or not so much?

Brozee was a wealth of knowledge and I owe him a couple of beers regardless!!!! Thanks again and wanted to give you kudos!!

Default I would concern about low miles with so many problems...

Could it be a lemon? Spent more of its time in the shop than on the roads?

Cheers and good luck,

Louis
