Air box
I was looking over my air box. The rectangular plastic "hose" from the front to the air box is deformed. Where can I order one of these.
It is impossible for me to get it sealed on both ends. If I connect to the front it pulls away from the air box. When I connect to the air box it leaks around the front. Age and temperature have deformed it.
I also see the flapper valve on the airbox. It has slots so it always let a little under hood air into the intake. Are these slots necessary?
My under hood temp is very high. Hate to feed any 200 degree air into the engine.

Mine was the same way so I heated it with my industrial heat gun, stretched it and after much manipulation it fits. I would probably invest in a new one, if I had it to do over. I bet if you look closely there's a part no and audiusaparts will have it...
IIRC the slots were originally covered with a thin rubber disc to create a seal and/or a one-way valve. Can't remember if it was to prevent hydrolocking or just a safety measure in case the inlet got blocked???
