I have a 2005 A8 4.2 and i am trying to locate the relay for the air ride suspension. Ive heard people say you just pull up some carpet and its easy to get to and ive heard some people say you have to take off 1/2 the dash... Help!

In a USA car 2005 is under the panel that is below the steering wheel. It takes about 10 minutes to get it off. You have to remove the strip to the left of the wheel where you will find some torx screws, there is some under the fuse compartment on far left and one all the way to the bottom of the panel near your right foot. There are other posts here that have nice pictures, do a search for them. Here is one with a picture. The Orange large fuse to the right of the relay and up is the 20A fuse for the Air Compressor.
