I received a lovely email from the shop manager today. Basically BS'd his way through any liability, blamed it on the "condition of the vehicle" (funny that I was not made aware of any water pump problems until now?), blah blah blah. I have twice requested that the labor cost I was quoted for a redo be refunded. Tomorrow morning I'm going to stop by the bank, and see what my options are, as well as contact the state AG's office. I am considering posting the emails here as a lesson-learned reminder, when it comes to choosing both the shop and parts.
