I have two problems that are starting to bother me more.

first, I coded the windows for remote opening and closing, and months after they worked, they no longer do.

My second frustration is often when opening my door, the driver side mirror aims up OR down even though no one else has used my car (I am the only driver).

Have you tried changing your key battery? Just a random but simple shot in dark.

On second one, maybe it has the settings from a different key than you think saved in the position memory. Try re saving the positions for the key you are using. After that, and especially if movement is randomly up or down, that's hard t figure out. On mine the passenger side dip function when reversing seemed to get balky and I finally changed the mirror motor, which seemed to help. The motor is kind of pricy though if you can't diagnose fairly specifically.

Yes, it is randomly up or down. I am not sure how it counts, but i am either thinking of taking it apart and cleaning the insides, or swapping the mirror. I just did not want to do either if it is being "counted" from something inside the door/car.

Thanks, I will try the battery too. The "remote entry" still works many months after the windows control does not, so I thought otherwise.
