405N from Hawthorne up to the 101. I never noticed how the 4.2 sounds stock, even when I'm driving it everyday.

It's so packed every day, you don't even have a chance to accelerate, and as soon as you accelerated, the CHP is already behind you with the Christmas lights flashing.

I love the sound of A8 D3 when accelerated, may be the sport option has special exhaust or something. Q7 3.6 also has the throaty sound, the newer 3.0 doesn't have it any more.

I would have to agree that the luxury of our A8's is more of the focus than the sound of the exhaust. I have been paying more attention on how quiet the interior is on the freeway and notice a little growl when pushed hard. That is luxury from Audi/Bentley.
