Default Audi S-Line pedals for my S8

Saw these and had to add them to my rig. They are NOT direct replacement of the rubber/hard plastic units on our cars, but they come close enough to hide that they are not a direct "bolt-on". The hardest part is drilling the very small holes into the hard plastic on the accelerator and the metal of the brake pedal. You have to find the right place to drill or you will not be able to put the nut on the backside. Anyway, they look really good once you are done.

Seems like unauthorized/knockoff parts to me. I thought an S8 would come with S Series pedals. Wassup with that?

Mine came with a set of these. They look fine, maybe the stock ones were showing wear. Definately look like they will last a long time.

Some say that due to the increased pedal reach you now have, you can press the gas pedal further down which is worth at least 25bhp. Much like stick on stripes down the side help channel the airflow so reducing drag and making your car faster. Sounds like sensible reasoning to me.

Default Adds about .000262007612 HP

Dave,
My approximations are leading me to the conclusion that these add about .000262007612 horsepower. That's a direct result of the weight reduction from the bulky rubber covers to the high quality Chinese Aluminum which we all know to be far superior to US aluminum.

from what I can see on photo you didn't put screws into all holes ? and the one on the left side is attached on the top of original plastic without screws ?

Good eye there gedis080,

actually, i took the picture before the sun went down and i lost decent lighting. I went back and added the missing screws that were the more difficult ones to do. The dead pedal on the far left actually has all 4 screws in place, you just cannot see the top two because the knee bolster is blocking the view. Nice attention to detail though and nice catch !!!!
