Another A/C Drain issue

Another A/C Drain issue
So, I'm sure a lot of us have been through this before...Water dripping out on our feet from clogged A/C drains...
Here's the kicker....Bring my '06 A8L in yesterday to a Long Island dealer, expecting a call telling me the car is done within a few hours and a $200 bill(or so)...
Nope, a call asking for $895 to clear the drains and order a "new pipe"...
Needless to say, I giggled and asked them to button the car up and give it back...
I did ask the girl if she was using the whole fist...she didn't get the joke...
Previously had this done and carpets replaced under warranty back in 2010 then cowl drains cleared in 2012...Starting to get tired of it...
Any experience and what did it cost or did you DIY?
Thanks for any input....

DIY
Pull down the carpet alongside the console. I cut the Audi clips with a pair of dykes. Replaced with small hose clamps.
Use a bucket to catch the water. Better, line the floorboard with a single sheet of plastic. Pop it apart and let the dash drain. I used a basketball needle on the end of air compressor to blow out both hoses. The needle slipped right in and restricts the air flow.
It is an hour job.
