Best place to sell a low mileage clean a8?
This is not a for sale post!
Once I get my backup sensor fixed I will be more actively trying to sell my a8. It's been on craigslist but I've only gotten one email in several months so I really don't feel it is the right place to sell the car. A friend of mine recommended cars.com but I can't say I know much about it.

I have sold cars from both Cars.com and craigslist. It's all in the writeup and where you are. Some places, the A8 just isn't popular and is hard to sell because no one is looking for one.

Seems like you have it priced right. Try a new add with different pictures. Maybe that will catch someones eye. Of course you can also try Autotrader etc.

+another 1... found my last several cars there. CL is a circus.
If you're in a hurry Carmax actually buys cars same-day and has several high-dollar A8s on their site, probably depends on where you live. I've heard it's not the worst place to purchase a car, especially with the warranty... if you buy something which they don't repair there (E.g., Audi) and something goes wrong, they send it off to the dealer and give you a loaner. HTH

I took a couple cars to Carmax, and I laughed my way out of there both times. 2200 for a cherry 10 year old XJR and 2500 for a fully optioned 7 year old Grand Cherokee? Ridiculous. I got triple for both selling private.
