Default Bluetooth Streaming Adapter

Hi all,

I need a genuine Audi Music Interface Bluetooth adapter that will allow me to stream music from my iPhone wirelessly on my 2008 A8.
Part number 4F0 051 510J
It seems that this has been discontinued and not available for purchase at OEM audi parts website. Any idea where I could get one? Would a dealer parts department have one of these in stock?

Thanks

I asked my dealer to do a search and he could not find one at any AUdi dealership in the USA.

I have one, but it was discontinued a few years back even though it was not sold for very long either. It was already very hard to find a year ago and now looks like last few have disappeared.

I use an aftermarket bluetooth streaming adapter with my AMI. Works good or great depending on what version of iOS is on my phone.

ViseeO Tune2Air

I have the older WMA1000 version that plugs into the AMI dock cable. The WMA3000A with integrated AMI cable wasn't available when I bought mine.

I purchased the WMA3000A today and plugged it in. The blue light did not go on. Is is possible my AMI is not working?

I just purchased this ca and it is possible. Is there any easy way to determine if the AMI is working properly? I am going to buy a standard cable and try that to rule out if the WMA3000A is faulty.

Honestly no idea what these obscure model numbers are. Maybe you want to describe it? If you mean the Audi bluetooth adapter they briefly sold to plug into the AMI port, you need to install a software patch that came on a USB stick with it.

I bought the ViseeO Tune2Air WMA3000A Bluetooth Adapter.

Do you think I need to update my MMI? I am on version 4140 I think.
