MP, actually I couldnt find any hole in the boot, but grease was all around, so I cut it and replaced it. The sensor was clean from grease, but obviously 11 years are enought of service. I will try with some fuel additive and see how it goes. The car has 311000 km or almost 190000 miles, so the additive will be good for saving the pumps too. Thanks for the advise!
