Yep, almost certainly your battery has failed.

Replace it with the new one you have and remember to code it properly. Plenty of "how to" posts on this forum.

Once you've done that, clear all your DTC's, go for a drive and then run another scan and let us know how you got on!

Default Wow this car is amazing... The battery is full... Drive around

and the MMI shows 100% and it still knows the battery is old and needs to be changed? I know one thing, battery doesn't have memory component inside so the car can read old and new id... Sometimes, the logic isn't there.
Amazing Audi Technology... really makes me go "hmmmmmmmmmmm...."
If the new battery fixes the flashing lights, I do need to visit Audi school.

Cheers,

Louis

Default ?? You might look at the power mngt module in VCDS...

Pretty well known that D3 starts to flake in many systems if battery is whack.

What you can see in VCDS--not mine, just an image I pulled from web.

Default Can be tricky..

I had to reread the instructions a couple times doing it myself.

When you're in the battery regulator click 'battery coding' and alter the existing serial number by a single digit. Easiest way to explain it.

You won't be able too until you click on 'Coding' and then 'Long Coding Helper'.
You need to get to this window.

Once you get to this window its as easy as altering the last digit of the serial number.
