Default D4 wheels fit on a D3 with no adapter ?

Same bolt pattern and hub centric fit from a 2014 A8 as a 2006 A8 ?

Sort of. Same bolt pattern but center hole is larger. You need center hole adapter rings. Some guys here run them. Aluminum/metal ones preferred. Big picture, with D4, C7, B8, A/S/RS7, A/S5, Q5 Audi upped the center hole size. So you can run later wheels on earlier ones with the rings. But you can't run earlier wheels on later design vehicles, at least not without a full on spacer adapter.

Took this picture on a Naval base in Virginia while I was there for a wedding back in March. It was the first weekend I had the wheels on. I've gotten a ton of looks & compliments since then. Mishar has these same wheels on his D3 & they look great on his car as well.

I'm using aluminum hub centric rings, the size is 57.10 to 66.56 mm. Here is the link to where I bought them on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Good luck,
Scott

I agree. I was never crazy about them on the D4 but when I saw them on the A7 thought they looked great. Then I saw a post on here with a D3 the same color as mine sporting this wheels and I was sold on the look.
