It took my son a year to find the exact TT he wanted. But, he knew the features/powertrain he wanted along with the color. He searched online nationwide and when he found the car, we went and looked at it and bought it. First one looked at and driven.

For long term ownership this is key. 5 or more years is a long time for something that isn't all that you want it to be. I figure it'll be 5-6 years before I can afford my 2016 S8 Plus! About 2021 and a reduction from $175k to the 30's sounds about right.

Well it will take you 5-6 years to get the wifey and marriage counselor on board with the S8 only to switch gears and go with an A8L W12.

2016 S8 Plus is the only way I am going FI over NA. Those cars are BOSS!

I don't know, a tuned normal S8 can still be pretty boss. I put this up in the D4 Forum, but I think you guys would appreciate it, too. Definitely high up on my wishlist.

Ridiculously unsafe. Need to feel thrills & danger, get on a waterski, or a bike and do all that at 50-70 km/h.

I agree. Watched that a few days ago when YT surfing. In a food coma now!

Well, I do think there were more people around than I'd do that with, but if I knew the pavement I was driving on and there wasn't anyone around, sure I'll wind it on up. Did it routinely in the SRT8 even before it was supercharged while I stationed in West Texas. The car's stable and predictable, as long as you got a good head and minimize variables(i.e. other drivers) it's not a big thing. My rule is no playing when they are people around. They are too unpredictable, and you can't do much about it.

Assuming this was filmed on a derestricted portion of the autobahn I have no problem with it.

If it was not well my opinion changes quicker than the audi shifts.

I'm pretty sure that was filmed on a derestricted portion of the autobahn. I don't think those guys would post it on youtube if it wasn't. People have been arrested for hijinks from youtube video's before.
