Estimate cost of repairs

Spark plugs from the OEM already cost like close that, so NO, that's NOT for oem parts.
W12 spark plugs total almost 700€ from audi + labor. V8 plugs are also close to that as far as I know
...
But these are EURO prices, i suspect you in the US have those parts for close to nothing.

On the other hand in other sectors, tuition alone at a "public" top university is now > U.S.$10,000/year.

About tuition, all education here is free (=paid with taxes), so that's the other side of the coin, same with Basic healthcare.
I try to justify it to many of my friends about paying high taxes, and keep them remembering that we have free education and healthcare etc, but these are people that don't educate themselves or their children, and just whine about the free healthcare.

As I say to friends/family back home (I'm from the UK); the USA is a good place to live if you're rich. The U.K./EUSSR is a good place to live if you're poor.

I get my plugs from the dealer for like 9 bucks each, oil like about 6.50 per quart castrol full synthetic but then again I got the hookups so thats a different story....

Do the tuneup items yourself. I just swapped out the plugs, and both air filters for around $160 in parts. Took me about two hours. Very easy to do on this engine.
