But these are EURO prices, i suspect you in the US have those parts for close to nothing.

If you shop around you can get W12 NGK OES plugs for slightly under U.S.$10 each. Discounted dealer is slightly over $12 each, or U.S.$150 for the set.

On the other hand in other sectors, tuition alone at a "public" top university is now > U.S.$10,000/year.

Yes, but not in europe. 17,90€ for NGK PZ6FRJ-11 (if i recon correctly) oes plugs here in Finland, 13-14€ in germany.

About tuition, all education here is free (=paid with taxes), so that's the other side of the coin, same with Basic healthcare.

I try to justify it to many of my friends about paying high taxes, and keep them remembering that we have free education and healthcare etc, but these are people that don't educate themselves or their children, and just whine about the free healthcare.

Harrumph....my kid's damn daycare is costing me over $20,000 a year. Still, my choice so can't complain.

As I say to friends/family back home (I'm from the UK); the USA is a good place to live if you're rich. The U.K./EUSSR is a good place to live if you're poor.

Do the tuneup items yourself. I just swapped out the plugs, and both air filters for around $160 in parts. Took me about two hours. Very easy to do on this engine.
