First trip in the snow with my S8

All I can say is wow. We got probably 3-4 inches overnight and it's starting to come down harder now with a possible rain mix later so I wanted to get the beast out to see what she could do.
All I can say is, WOW. This is my first Audi, but I was expecting a bit more drama than I found--and I'm running Conti DWS all seasons, not snow tires. This car handles snow as well or better than my truck does. Took several unplowed/fairly deep snow roads and unless I got really squirrelly with the throttle, it was planted and competent.
Found a train station parking lot that I know has no curbs and was wide open and I turned off the ESP and had some fun--you really need to drive aggressively to get it to slide and break, and even then it's incredibly controllable and poised. I would feel confident driving this car through anything up to 6-8 inches on the ground no problem.

Stay safe regardless of direction (and spin) of travel.
