Gear Selector
Removing and disassembling gear selector probably won't be ever necessary unless you want to change something there. I decided to cut the selector lever for 25 mm. Probably just aesthetics, but I am looking at it every day so it matters. I also swapped Tiptronic side so it is closer to me in manual mode. Last thing (for now ) I swapped up and downshift. Under acceleration it is easier to upshift by puling the lever back. Same thing pushing it forward under braking. That's how it works on real sequential sifters (motorcycles and rally cars).
First step is puling the wood trim.
Take the selector out and place it on a table.
Remove screw 0. Remove screws 1. Be careful when removing that part! There are two springs under tension that will fly away.
Remove bolts 2 (one on each side).
Remove screws 3.
Remove screw 4.
When removing 5 watch for springs 6.
Remove part 7.
Unscrew two Torx screws until you can slide that part up. No need to remove screws.
Punch out pin this way.
Same with this one.
All apart.
Lever that I cutt down for 25 mm.
Right side driving selector gate.
End result (for now)

Looks good!
Interesting how they swap the Tiptronic gate, the start button (with no fingerprint curiously) and parkbrake switches, but leave the volume **** alone for RHD.
Mike.

They didn't want to make another MMI board that goes underneath those buttons. Parking brake and start/stop switches are separate parts, so they made just a new plastic cover.

Thanks Mishar,
I'm not looking forward to doing it though, i thought it was easier. :-(
How does it compare to doing the MMI gears as I have done that.

That's the clip from the previous picture. It would be very difficult to put it back as it is. If you cut it along those lines, using just simple metal shears, it becomes easy and it doesn't hurt it's functionality.
