Side issue, who do plan to use to do your window tint?

I don't know who I going to use to do my tint but all I know is I want to do 35% all around so that's still up in the air.

Most tint films look bad after a few years. I would hate to have to remove the back tint window when it's bubbled.
I thought ugly cars get tint so people can't see the owners hiding behind the dark glass. A8 is a beautiful car, would you like people to see who's driving that beautiful car?

Well that's why it's up in the air whether I really want to tint it or not. It already has solar tint from the factory. I agree with you it's too nice of a car to put tint on. Plus my car is black so I don't want go give cops a reason to pull me over. Plus besides the tint on average lasts 3-4 yrs before it starts to show some fading(discolor). Like you said I don't want scrape that crap off and our back windows are a pain to do.

My 4.2L has been tinted since I got it 3+ years ago, and with the silver it does look sharp. I also tinted my W12 and that looked awesome with tint with the all black.

One downside is though, tint does add a look of age to your vehicle. It definitely does make it look a little older or less clean? in a way vs. an untouched one. I just love the feeling/look of the window tint and I've had all of my cars tinted.

As long as you get it done at a reputable shop with a good window film you should't have any issues of it ever fading or peeling or anything. Tinting is a whole other world when you dive into what film vs. what type vs. what shop.. Just do your homework and balance a budget.
