I am not sure why you young guys want one of these cars? Get a 911 or,something along those lines. Get a C4. I enjoy the S8 and the suv, but I would never had wanted one in my late 20's. Single, no kids, etc. I bought mine with 30k miles and sold it with 90k miles.

I got my 04 when I was 27(4 years ago). I am 6"4 and I dont like smaller cars due to having to get down to get in. Thats not all though. If I had picked up a porche or something along them lines, I would not have a licence. The A8 is fast enough and it reminds me that I dont need to be doing 150 down a highway. When I know I can go that fast, I know I will go that fast. This car helps me stay conservative and I love the way it drives. Its my first audi and I plan on staying with the A8. There is not another car for me!

Douglas Adams was a genius, in his own right!

Fair enough. Though I would note that I am 6'3", and the the 911 wasn't an issue. Not like those little Italian cars. I used to track my 911, to get that "go fast" need away from the highways...

Sorry for the bump but had to when I realized I'd be setting the record for youngest here haha

Got it when I was 17 exactly three months before my 18th birthday. Currently I'm 20. May be judged but it was a graduation gift with the money my parents and I saved with all the scholarships I received for college and the fact they were happy I decided to commute to school instead of dorming. So more of a money saver.

And here is the beauty as she stands.

That was a wise and logical decision.
You now have a fantastic vehicle to show for what would have otherwise lined someone else's pocket.

First Audi -Ur Quattro at age 19, First A8 at 40, 'now' A8 at 42, which, if I recall from the 'Hitch Hikers Guide to The Galaxy', is the meaning of life...
