Im new to the forum and a new a8 D3 owner. after owning 55 other cars, it's really good to arrive at the a8L. I say this car is more of a private jet than a car - I love it.

the question is: is the 1156 DRL removed with a twist or pull ? or some other way?

After changing spark plugs I removed the headlight bucket back (2 clip) port from the behind the 1156 DRL and 194 bulbs. I understand that you can pull on the 194 "plug" to remove the bulb and holder. But I can't figure out how to remove the 1156 bulb. There is a ribbed plastic "T" behind the bulb but I couldn't see it it twists one particular direction or if it pulls directly out. Being a $900 headlight, I'd rather wait and ask people on the forum.
