Default Random Electrical Problem

Hi All, this is my 1st post so please be gentle with me.

I have been the proud owner of a 2006 A8L 3.0TDi for just over a year now. I am quite technically apt having already changed the MMI control head due to failure and also MMI gear upgrade due to the screen failing but my most recent problem is confusing the life out of me and is quite dangerous to be honest. A few days ago I was driving the car from cold and set off on a small motorway journey. Around 5-10mins into the journey the car had a spasm at 60mph. My interior mood lighting, climate, phone, amp and GEARBOX decided to re-boot and the gearbox stopped selecting gears. All the selector lights on the gearbox were red and the car was not accelerating. I pulled over and turned it on and off and the car was fine. Initially I thought I may need a gearbox oil and filter change. Until the car did the exact same thing when stationary outside my house without moving for 3 days in a row. I have checked all fuses and relays that I can access and all seem fine. Had it up on VCDS and no errors are being logged on there either. The only 2 suspicious errors I came across were to do with high voltage on the TV tuner and Radio. Seems to be some kind of control board beginning to go bad but I cannot determine what would be linked to all these systems? Any help would be much appreciated…

Thanks in advance as this is my 1st post I have attached a pic
