I don't have info on which one is which.
But I have a very practical suggestion--how you would diagnose before the electronics wiz bang. Simply, remove HVAC filter cover from the center area under hood behind motor. You can see the recirc. flap right there. Same as in the picture with the dual flaps, other than it is off white color typical plastics. Is it open or closed? Now, go into the HVAC controls tied to the MMI screen and select the recirc. option. Does the flap move or not? Assuming it was not closed to start with, if no movement, problem found. If movement, maybe no problem, or not worth sweating anyway.
Code also says it occurred once, two weeks ago and intermittent. Thus, not systemic. Or again, to pre-code world, is there anything about HVAC functioning that is objectionable? Lack of heat, defrost not clearing windows, obvious that smells aren't clearing from interior with no fresh air, vents not working, creaky noises or clicks in dash, etc.? I get these random codes for keyless locking door handles sometimes too, but they generally work. Or the codes 95% of owners probably now have for the underfloor heater element; system still works in general even if one or both elements have taken a powder.

The air con is working fine at the moment. It was malfunction before due to faulty recirculation motor G113. It took me a long of time to change that motor due to difficulty in gaining access. Now i have this clicking noise from the dashboard and i think the other motor is on its way out. My scan said air flow flap motor which i think is the very front motor in the diagram. I will have a go at this motor in the near future

Hi all
How can I get to all those flaps that may be damaged?
I have no air flow to my footwell (driver side, EUROPE) and the same thing behind me, passenger footwell.
This is what I found with VCDS says. It's strange that it says RIGHT side, because in reality, the problem exists on the left side, besides that, FRONT and REAR.
what do you think about that?
thanks in advance.
