Ok, so I ran the vin and it came back as being a salvage title. It's had three owners, the last of which brought it back to the same dealer he bought it from and traded for an H2 Hummer. I've never purchased a vehicle with a salvage title. What are your thoughts and opinions? It has 56000 miles on the clock and they are asking $24,950. Premium package with sport wheels.Ice Silver metallic with black interior.

I would never buy a salvaged title car unless it's been driven by an owner for at least 2 years and 30k miles. Sometimes salvaged title cars are good if nothing major with the suspension or electrical, the only way to find out how well they're fixed is by driving it and I don't want to be the guinea pig. Yes the price is so low and tempting, but the headache is more and if you have to sell it right away, you'll have hard time selling it.

Changing timing belt is no big deal. After spending a full day removing the front bumper, air conditioning, cooling system, and engine mounts, it was a breeze.

Price is good for 2008. If you are going to have it for a long time you may swallow that title. Once it is down to $10-15K some kid will buy it not even thinking about history. Of course you need good inspection and search what was wrong with it. This cars are easily pronounced write off because of crazy dealers repair prices used by insurance. You may consider waiting some time for that price to go even lower. But you may be late too.
