Shudder Bounce in D

Shudder Bounce in D
Hello everyone newbie here
I have a problem in my 2005 Audi A8 3.0 v6 that I purchased. The car starts and idles perfectly although when I select drive or sport or use the flappy paddles and accelerate there is a hesitation a shudder from the engine. Its as if there is a misfire in the engine at certain points. The car will drive although continues to do this whilst you accelerate. If I place the car in neutral it will rev perfectly with no misfire symptoms. It leads me to believe there is a problem with the automatic gearbox..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I put it onto VCDS and it came back with cylinder 6 misfire and engine mount solenoid valve. I'm going to replace all spark plugs and see if this help and see if the engine mounting is leaking or done.

I think the engine mount is more likely the problem...
Cheers and good luck,

+1 on that & mishar's advice
Also scan the tranny if you haven't already, plus note/tell us if the shudder is always involving the same gear. There is a known issue around 4-5 that affects the ZF six speed if it turns out to be there consistently--also makes a "hooting" noise at the same time.
Spark plugs sound likely so far, but other possibles can be 02 sensor, MAF issues, cam/timing sensor issues, and the spark plug coil pack. You should usually see codes for those kinds of scenarios, and plugs sound likely/promising so far given the code. BTW, if plugs look good and/or if issue persists w/ the code, then expect it is the coil pack for that cylinder. Common modern Audi problem, and literally millions were recalled for new coil packs, my W12 (x12!) included.
