I had a similar issue with my sirius module but I had upgraded from 3360 to 4610 about 5-6 months ago. It may have failed to connect to the sirius module during the update if I remember correctly. I would have the same symptoms but not all the time and sometimes MMI would report that the module wasn't installed. VCDS would report corrupt RAM in the module when it could connect to the module. I was also having battery drain. It eventually got worse and would never get past the initial screen before shutting down. I installed the loop to bypass the module and smooth sailings since. No freezes, no battery drain. Not a big fan of the compressed audio anyway.
