NAV CD got eaten... WTF
Hola folks... some minor history. Bought the car used from an Audi dealer a few years ago. Discovered after the sale that there was no NAV disc, not a big deal cause I rarely use it. Recently purchased an up to date NAV disc, loaded it into the trunk player... made a funny (and not good) noise and the system wouldn't recognize the disc. Now it won't eject. Was going to tip the car on its side and try to jiggle it out... but not practical. Any counsel appreciated.

I know you've posted here on the D3 forum before, so I won't ask you to read the sticky at the top of the thread list.
That said, have you searched the forum? Do you have VCDS? With VCDS, you should be able to "unlock" the DVD from the navigation player; Unless the player has a major malfunction.
There are many threads here that discuss the Nav. DVD "locking" feature.

As Mister Bally said, your DVD is locked. Since there was no disc in there you where able to insert the new one, but to eject it you must unlock it first. For that you need VCDS.
That "not good" sound indicates that something is wrong with your Navigation Module. You may need a new one.
