Yes buy a used one from ebay there are plenty, I had one froma guy in Poland not so long ago. I'min the UK and it was delivered within 7 days for £90. Very easy to replace.

Good news guys a fuse fixed all my problems lol.... Took it to my homeboys house and he checked out everything and fixed it, he also have the mmi 2g software upgrades, he said i have the 05 mmi and it has never been upgraded. He said first i have to upgrade to 3.3.60 before i can upgrade to 4.6.10 ... Are there any neat / big features i will get from upgrading ? And he also has the latest Dvd Navigation disc aswell.

so wasup guys its been awhile, but bad news and good news, My Wife crashed my 2005 Audi A8 and completely totaled it, Engine cracked, the entire front smashed and all air bags deployed... Insurance did not cover it, (long story) so I think im going to part out the entire mmi and all the seats etc but I just Purchased an 2006 Audi A8L with perfect maintenance history and everything is so perfect on the car and it was garage kept. Will post pics soon.

That must have been some hit to crack the block, wow. Glad she is OK. Not to open a can of worms, but why won't insurance cover the damage/value
