Good day Gentlemen,

I just purchased a 2004 Audi A8 from a buddy of mine.
It is dinged up a bit but I paid fair market value, maybe I should have payed a bit less.

The car has about 200,000KM/120,000 Miles and needs some body work.

I am excited to really get into this car.

The first thing I must purchase is a new set of tires for the car. Can anyone recommend a good affordable set or brand.

I live in Saudi Arabia and I have been looking at Hanook, Yokohama or Dunlop.

What is the first thing I should have checked in this car?

I am feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment.

I worry about the transmission as when I put it into Drive I feel a slight thump. Any ideas? Hopefully, I was not sold a car with a bum transmission!
