I'll remind folks that not every DTC is listed, only those with value add or special notes/applications.

VCDS is just a tool... knowledge and a factory repair manual make it function.

That's right, it's locked. The dealer wants $500 CAD plus 3 hours labour for the upgraded Nav. disc, that would be about a grand tax in. Navteq used to sell but I guess Audi saw $$ signs and now I have to go through them or this other outfit based in SARAJEVO. Have ordered for $89. and will see. Thinking about the Ross-Tech unit but the car is so great stock I'm sure I can get an unlock from an independent garage for 50 bucks

I would find a good used unit.

It is five minutes with VCDS. You should own one or you will never know what is really wrong with her. That is usually expensive.

Nice to see a new D3/S8 owner in my 4hr window. Try and head for racrtherunway.com next year in Smith Falls and I may make it down for Vagkraft in Mississauga.
