Sorry not the greatest photos cars not washed or polished and photos off my phone.
I have 40mm rear and 35mm front. H&R prinrace spacers.
Car has a fantastic look very purposeful now as I swapped the standard 19inch to R8 18inch it needed more stance.
Not everyone's taste maybe but gives the car that 20/22 inch look.
Anyhow I am happy with the look hope you all like the difference
Regards bob.

I use eleven inch on my rears. Do you have any issues when on the dynamic mode?

Seems fine on dynamic mode. No problems to report. Will run for a few more miles then report back.

Looks fantastic! I was thinking about getting 25mm on the Front and 30mm on the back, but was concerned they might be too wide... but certainly not based on your photos!

I'm guessing 35+40mm spacers are the type that are mounted directly into the hub then you use the original lug bolts to mount the rims to them?

Yep hub centric spacers just that bit safer.
i would measure the distance from the wheel to the arch before you order to make sure you get the right size.
i couold probably went 45mm instead of 40mm on the back no problem as i had plenty room but thought 40mm enough on this type car.
the front i feel should have been 30mm instead of 35mm as i pass the arch by 4-5mm but i didnt want to get spacers to small as i have done that before and bought twice.
dont think you can go to wrong with this car and spacers as far as asthetics go as the look with the wider stance definitely makes the car look more S8 style.

The back looks about right and pretty flush with the wheel arch, although the front looks like they stick out beyond the arch which along with the smoked lenses, to me, look like cheesy aftermarket tat, especially when on an otherwise supremely classy W12. Just my opinion, but you gotta take the good with the bad when posting on a public forum.

You might also run into problems with the law as (when viewed from above) tire tread that sticks out proud of the arch is illegal in the UK. So you might want to reconsider your spacer fitment on the front.

For others reading this, the OP has fitted R8 wheels which have very different offsets to the OE A8 wheels. That's why he's able to run such big spacers. If you're using OE spec wheels then 25mm rear and 15mm front seems to be about as big as you can go without it looking cheesy. But you should still measure none the less.
