Default Oil Leak. Front of FSI motor

Did an oil change last night and the engine guard was heavy with oil. Looks to be coming from the front right side of motor. After the oil change I started it up and opened the oil fill cap for a second. It has Lots of suction there. Like a good shop vac. Hope that is a good thing. Any tips on a common oil leak I should look for. Looked all over and could not see anything obvious. Was not a good night for the car or me.

Yeah, I had the same issue and I see you posted it before https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a8-...7-fsi-2865485/
I haven't located my source yet, but I cleaned the front of engine really good and going to monitor it before I bring it in the shop. I was thinking might be the gasket at base of oil filter housing then running under intake manifold then down front of engine, well that's what many B7 S4 owners experienced and our engines are set up similar.

I would check the obvious valve cover and oil pan first. Also check the along and under oil filter housing could be coming from the cap or may be the housing itself.

I had forgot I posted that before. Wish it was like that. Now it is much more oil.

Not sure how it could be the filter housing. My filter to way up top next to the firewall. 07 FSI. Looks clean up there. Where do I look to see if that is it? I will get the scope camera going under the filter and see what I can find.

I have the same car with same engine. I came across this post and it may be the culprit. Take a look: Found my oil leak and got it fixed

Now this is some info I can jump on. Thanks for the link. Pictures and part numbers. What more could a guy ask for. Thanks!

Great link but am having some trouble with the part numbers on the gaskets. I will update that here and I learn more. Right now I have different part numbers.
For the 2007 FSI 4.2
Gasket 079103121BE

It is the same for the o-ring N90959701

I'd like to take care of this on my own but cannot seem to locate a procedure for intake manifold removal. Anyone that can provide assistance in removing the intake manifold for an 07 4.2FSI would be appreciated.
