I understand you're upset with your Audi experience. My '05 had a few issues during my ownership. One of them pretty major. But I wouldn't call any of the D3's overpriced or unreliable. I also don't find them that hard to work on. Sure it's tight in the engine bay but that's what happens when you have a DOHC V8 under the hood. I found my '04 Durango Hemi just as difficult to work on. Ride quality and performance are hard to beat as well. I find it difficult to believe that a 2004 Cadillac could hold a candle to the A8. As far as Bluetooth music goes all the newer Audi's have this feature. It wasn't common on any vehicles in 2004. Many German and high end European cars of that era din't have the feature. That's why companies like Dension make devices that give you that feature.

If you want better reliability I would recommend spending a lot more money and buying a newer car.
