Hi, I just purchased a 2004 Audi A8 and the trunk will open if I use the key to open, but not from the switch on the door. When I press the switch and it clicks, just does not open the truck. Could this be a fuse? please help

If so, I would focus on the door switch part itself, or the wiring loom as it passes out of the door for possible abrasion wear. I don't know of specific fusing that would apply to the switch and its various push/mechanical triggers but not the trunk motor.

Is the key switck/lock on the trunk lid by chance in "valet" position? The key can be removed with the lock cylinder in two different "clocked" positions.
