Default Problems with taillight not working.

Hello folks! It's been awhile since I had posted. My 2004 Do with 115k miles is having issues with the driver side brake light ( the one mounted on the trunk ). So I followed the instructions to remove the entire tail light and then removed the clipped cover . After inspection the bulbs, wiring, and LED board, I can't see anything wrong Started the car and turned the light on, still not working while the other side does. Left it out all afternoon, tried again and it works!! I then put everything back and remounted the taillight, NOW IT DOES NOT WORK AGAIN!!! I took it out again and wiggled a few things, still not working. I can't figure this out. Any suggestions?

What directions are you referring to if you don't mind me asking?

I hate intermittent problems. Time to grab an DVM and start measuring.

Take out the other light and swap then around to see if the fault follows the dodgy light.

Only ways to fix are to change the internals (if you can find the parts that is), replace the whole unit, or if you're an electronics expert, repair it.

Standard electronic troubleshooting techniques apply here. No procedure written. A technical degree or equivalent experience would be really helpful. Engineering degree even better. Otherwise, replace the assembly.

Same issue, but try and find a replacement without paying and arm and a leg.

I try to keep an extra arm and leg set aside for repairs.
