Ramp Project
#21
OK, I'll ask it...
How do the wheels come off as it is? I just can't see it, unless I'm missing something. Unless you jacked it up and put it on axle stands on the tops of the ramp(enough head room?)... That was kind of my point in the initial post, with it sat on it's wheels, there's only so many things you can do, and while I agree re: ATF change, how often do you intend to do that? And without the ability to raise and lower it at will, any jobs involving the engine bay are out, aren't they? Maybe it has a future for restorations, a kind of 'rotisserie' affair...
Loving the concept, and definitely admire the work, calculations, and ingenuity involved, but mark me down as a little confused please. I hope you survive long enough to tell us lots of stories about working under it.
One more thing though, those shots make your rims look wayyyyy better than your avatar. That never really did them justice..
OK two more things, 'likes bears'?? Must be a Canadian thing..
Cue abuse....

I am not ready to try this at the moment, however, might want to do it later - looks very useful for other cars as well.
Do you have the drawing from your ACAD design? Are you willing to share the design etc?
