Default A rare sight these days

All five tpms sensors working. This is what it looks like

Finally got round to having a new one put on the spare after having to swap it out due to a cracked rim. FYI symptoms of that were a slow leak with no obvious puncture or tire damage, and a slight wobble at 55mph.

All of them should look like that. That is the cheapest and the safest way. It is also nice.

I assume Mishar meant the TPMS readings and not the wheels!

Meh, with a cracked rim you just install a tube inside the tire. Probably won't have TPMS though....

Don't ever put a tube inside a passenger car tire. In some states it is illegal to do so. Tire shops here in texas will not do it.

Since the rim is cracked and you knowingly attempted a work-around, you are 100% liable in an accident no mater who is at fault.

I have been to Detroit. I am not surprised at anything done in that town. The last time I was in Detroit I vowed to never go back. It has gone downhill since then. I can only imagine how bad it is now.
