This may of been covered before but could not find any info my rear brake lights and are on permanently iv replaced the switch in the pedal but still not solved the issue does anyone else help hear

Unplug the switch to verify if they go out or not. If not, there is a control module that is bad. VCDS component scan will verify this as well. If the switch is at fault, you will need another one and must follow the install instructions (on the paper that comes with it ) exactly. You get one shot. If you mess up, the switch is unuseable.
