Default rear seat cup holder

springs are broken on mine thats why it wont pop open anymore. i have 2 kids that really need this cupholder....if not for them i would not even bother. so my question is....is the size of the cupholder all the same with the A4/A6's? i can find one locally but only for A6 or A4.

thanks.

The one you already have is broken so maybe you can try to take the front off and see what happens.

Yes that front plate does come off, fairly easily. Just take a close look at the diagram to be sure you are prying at the right place otherwise you might break a clip or two... even still there are are quite a few clips that hold it on... it will work!

You may also find that the Spring is in fact not broken? and you might be able to get the old one working again? I was able to get mine working again once I had it removed from the arm rest.
