Removing trim in ceiling, rear window.
I am wanting to check the connections on my FM antenna. It is throwing an open fault, even though it still works. Maybe not great reception, but geys most stations in town.
Looked at the antenna amplifier, and felt in under the fabric trim. Popped the trim loose on both ends and got it loose in the back next to the rear window.
But it is attached in the middle securely. The ends will move a little to the rear, kind of pivots.
How do you loosen it without damaging it to access the antenna amplifier?

I have had mine out to check the antenna connections specifically to the NAV unit, amp too, I got the ends free and then I may have used a plastic pry bar to get the center part free. Any way it does just sort of un-snap at the center just be careful in doing so

Thanks!!!
I was being too conservative in applying pressure. Used a metal putty knife and popped it right out.
After reinserting all five plastic RF connectors and the ground wire twice each, I checked the radio. Now it works perfect, a scan picked up more stations than before with no intermittant static.
So a dirty connection in there was the problem with my reception.
Big thanks to all who recommended I start here.
