Replacing front marker light -07 A8
My wife damaged the left front marker light lens (amber) on the '07 A8 she drives. I have a new lens, and want to remove the one that is broken. My "Bentley" does not give any info that I can find.
Anyone done this that can provide suggestions??
THANKS for your assistance.

Installed the new lens (actual full component) today (~$85 at dealer, ~$70 on internet). Probably took 3-4 minutes at most.
For future 'searchers', in my case, the lens was broken in the middle, with the rear part gone. With some cardboard covering the chrome strip, I stuck a flat bladed screwdriver into the gap at the front or inner part of the old component. pried it out slightly, and then pulled off the remaining part of the lens (should have done that first). With that gone, I 'bent' the front part of the component towards me and pulled it to the left. This allowed the large black electrical connector to come free, and the whole component came out.
Removed the black connector from the broken marker light, plugged it into the new one, then inserted the 'back/outer' portion of the light into the opening. When everything was in place, I firmly pushed the front portion into the opening. Click and it's all done. Next time, I think less than a minute would be required once I had the flat (medium size) screwdriver in hand.

Reviving this slightly old thread as I'd like to see if anyone has an alternative to the amber light besides the piece of Euro trim that eliminates it completely. I have searched the board as well as the inter webs, but no dice thus far. I'm guessing I'm out of luck but if anyone knows of a clear lens or smoked lens that can fit where our ambers are on the front bumper, please let me know!
I like having the light but would rather it blend better with the rest of the car.
Thanks!

HAHA...thanks! Yes I simply put window tint on them, but I took them out to properly clean and tint them. I had bought the delete strips, but decided against them.
