Hello friends,
my s8 is losing coolant about 1 liter per 100km with no visible coolant leaks.
my mechanic could not find any leak.
we also pressurized the system, need your experienced advice,

where do i start looking? any known common leaks for this engine?

Have you replaced the coolant cap? My passat developed a leak I couldn't find and it turned out the be a bad cap that wouldn't hold pressure.

If there are bubbles in your coolant reservoir it is cylinder head gasket. Also check the oil. If it is milky there is coolant in it. Cylinder gasket again.

Can you smell any coolant in the engine bay after driving it for a bit? Check to see if there are any signs of coolant leaking and burning off on the exhaust. And with these, also check the reservoir for any leaks or cracks, particularly around where hose connects.

Look for pink residue left behind from burning off of coolant, also check all the small black plastic tubes under the hood.
