That's a pretty comprehensive coverage. What do they mean by in car communication devices? For example, do they mean a factory cell phone or ANY communications like TPMS system which communicates to the wheels + spare?

What is the deductible at those prices?

Thanks. I will have to check on the specific definition of communication device -- but a primae facie reading is telephony system and not internal components that communicate with one another. The deductible is $100 buckaroos.

Just wanted to put this thread to bed. I went ahead and purchased the 4 year/48k mile warranty from Nissan Motor Co. Managed to get another $500 bucks knocked off. Will advise re: my journey with this warranty over the next few years... destiny will tell if it was a wise investment or if if would have been better to bank the $$$ for repairs.

Congrats MonacoGP1984,

I picked up an garaged Daytona Grey 07 S8 with 37k miles back on July 2nd with a clean carfax. I had my dealer check the car out and no issues found except an buzzing B&O speaker in the passenger front door.

I was unable to find any reasonably priced warrantiy so Ive decided to just bank the $6500 for any repairs that come along but I would be intrested in checking with the company your using for your warranty

All I can say is that I love this car even more than my first S8 (2001) and my 05 A8L.
