S8 Die Cast/Resin scale model?
All--
Wondering if anyone has been able to track down a D3 S8 scale model. Would love to have one for my desk at work if I can find one, but I have searched everywhere without luck.
I noticed there is a company called Looksmart that made a grey one that has ok quality, but I cannot find any for sale. If anyone knows of where I should look let me know!

If you had a LWB W12...
you could of course buy the very cool 1:18 Kyosho. I have one of those, which is a virtual exact match to my black and Amaretto W12, just like the one in the post pics about a used one in recent days.

Thanks for the links..and yes I may end up getting a W12 model regardless. This is the same issue I had with my e34 M5. There was one single model produced of that car and it was very limited run and not fantastic quality. I eventually found one but I think the S8 hunt is going to be even tougher.

Cole if by chance you find one, order two! Black of course.
We should get together for a mods list. I'm sure we'll be doing similar things, perhaps get ideas from one another.

David--sounds good. On another note, maybe we should go in 50/50 on a VCDS and XP laptop since my *$#&$# car threw a CEL yesterday. Probably and hopefully nothing big since it's running fine, but I need to scan it to know. So if you know of anyone in the area with a VCDS currently let me know.

No I don't. I thought I read on vagcom site you didn't need XP? My wife's pc or my daughter's old book do though. Cd-rom of flashy drive?

Thanks MP4.2--I'll probably run a dedicated laptop just for this so I can get a cheap used one and XP actually works unlike a lot of the garbage that Microsoft released thereafter. Nonetheless it's nice to know that Win 7 or something would work.
