I have a question being that you recently acquired your A8, is your SAT radio active, or are you listening to "Preview Station", Also, although it may sound like mid-range is coming from the front doors, it is not, it is as Richard-TX stated, those are strictly bass woofers, I just played FM, SAT, CD and there were no mids of any kind from the front doors, NOW as far as SAT radio, some stations sound like garbage, like the preview station, but others great, try BPM #51, Elec Area #52, or Chill #53, I have my setting as posted in pictures earlier and CD and SAT sound great, FM is horrible....
