something odd with function of parking brake
The parking brake will set, but the motor runs much longer than is normal. Same with the release, and all this started today. Anyone else ever experience this ?

Mine can do this about once every month or so for only the 'applying the brake' part. I believe this is because it is calibrating for pad wear. Once done, it doesn't do it again for a while.

this is not a calibration
yes, they do calibrate the system from time to time, but that is not whats going on with mine. This behavior occurs everytime , and the e brake motor doesnt run nearly as long as during a calibration.

Check module 53 adaptation channel 006 to see how thick it thinks the pads are.
A function test may also be in order.
