I also have been impressed with the Bose system in my 07 A8. Ive had quite a few 2013 and 2014 Audi loaners and i always appreciate even more the sound of the bose in the D3 A8. It has a sense of richness and fullness in the sound that even many newer systems lack.

One gripe that i have about the Bose is that certain higher frequencies such as cymbals or other subtle instruments are not even picked up by the tweeters which frustrates me on some songs because i know how they are supposed to sound. But the bass is very rich and kicks pretty hard. You will not be dissapointed.

I have the Bose system in mine and I have absolutely no complaints at all! The music sounds great at all volumes, just enough bass and treble. I have had aftermarket stereo systems that cost several thousands $$$ in other cars, but the Audi Bose is perfect, I think. I never heard the B&O though.
I also had a 2000 BMW 540 and I could say that the stereo in that car SUCKED!!! It was horrible, POS!

Ok so I just got my Dension adapter a couple weeks ago and I'd like to take back everything I previously said. The B&O blows the Bose out of the water for clarity and is noticeably better than the Harmon Kardon system in my 5 series which is rated as one of the best. The Harmon Kardon has more bass but the B&O is just incredibly clear and crisp on quality sources.
