While removing the intake manifold, to replace the oil retention valves I found two of these strange plastic objects.


One of which was found in the intake valve port. The other one was located in the picture below at the lower left corner of the crankcase breather.



I am not sure if they are suppose to be there or how one of them got into the intake valve port. Any ideas would be great.

I'm going to take a guess its the two yellow pieces in the picture.

Having never had one apart I couldn't say what they do for sure, but they might be to align the two halves of the inlet manifold.
