Airbag light on. Was diagnosed by dealer that passenger seat needs repair kit installed, 5K0998582. A few short wires
Question: Anyone has done this and can help me to locate where the wires go? Do I need to open up the passenger seat in the back, site ???

Again, please refer to your prior thread
We already spent the time and did you the courtesy of providing good info there. Me included.
And to be clear, you are on the WRONG track here with the opening the seat back stuff. Use the down arrow and catch back up.

Before you use those wires find the yellow harness under the seat and clean/spray the contacts. Those wires are for hard wiring instead of a harness. Once you do that you can't disconnect it in case that you have to remove your seat.

yellow harness under the seat and clean/spray the contacts
Thank you - I did clean etc the yellow yellow harness cable under the seat. Light still on - does it need to be reset by shop to see if that worked, or could it go off if its fixed?

Yes, you will have to clear the codes with VCDS or any scan tool than can access your ABS data.
